Hi readers!!

Today i'm gonna share with everyone sculptures from my friend Hendra Adriyasa. He is an amazingly talented sculptor based in Indonesia.

I got to know Hendra during my trip to Jakarta, introduced by my buddy the ultra cool SalmonJim hehe.

His studio was amazing, he works really hard all day producing beautiful pieces which are released on a limited basis under the label of 'Locally Busted'. Check out the pics, FULL of details! I would really love to paint one someday!

Yes full blown original design FWS unicorn!

And its crazier with a banshee head and a whole load of weapons! Check out this up coming modeler from the Philippines, his name is Adrian or better known online as krescenhaze.

I met him after the MAC party and he told us over coffee how he loves the FWS Unicorn. He is really creative and made all kinds of new parts which is totally original! It was great meeting him, he was really nice to chat with. Good luck Kres and work hard on the build!!

MAC party displays = upcoming Talents!

Back from the MAC party, it was really great to have met everyone.
One word inspirational,

The letter P is for The Philippines and its Passion, it was amazing to see so many enthusiastic modellers who do not hold back in effort in building beautiful kits.

Let me share with my readers some kits made by these really really amazing modelers.
However before we start i must apologize for the quality of the photos, because unfortunately i left my camera in my hotel room and had to use my old phone camera instead, sorry guys.

lets start off with Don's display, its amazing. It was my first time seeing his award winning Kampfer diorama in person, i must say the impact is pretty big, the details in the back drop, the mini posters wow, leaves u speechless. Aside from that i can't keep my eyes of the Turn A head, it has this beautiful and ghostly feel, my eyes were fixed to it and i fell in love with it instantly.

Aside from those mention above there were also alot of other cool displays, DC displayed his THE-O wip as well. The diorama was huge, must be alot of work building it.

Another build off spotted!! The very cool Quanta build off, metalic vs clean look! kickass!

Then i saw a Strike freedom with a Hi-nu color scheme, nice twist to the color i love it.

The modelers in MAC forum are the most hardcore scratch building and detailing community ever! Its really good to see this because it shows the drive to push it further, its always good to be Avant-garde. Just look at all this creations

Alot of other ultra kawaii kits spotted too, beautifully painted SD kits and CarebearGuy (i so feel like hugging it =P). Check out the Gundam G05, theres also a huge Psycho behind but my lousy phone camera couldn't fully capture everything without losing focus.

This really classic looking Turn A was really nice, its so scenic with the diorama. The paint job was good! Waylander pointed out "COW!", i went super like haha!

Last but not least, I met this really special and talented modeler at the MAC party call Amir, when i talked to him he was really really passionate. He went through so much to get all the parts for his build, not only that u have to figure out how to connect them to form the horse. I really respect him man! Kudos to Amir! He showed me all this reference and wips to get to this stage, you really have to give him a pat on the back. I can't wait to see his finished piece!! Yes the horse stands on its own!

I feel so inspired after the party, its really amazing to see so many people who are keeping the hobby alive, and putting in so much effort, sacrifices to produce an artform which best express their indivdualism!

Model Kit Review LBX The Emperor No.006

Good afternoon, morning, night where ever you are readers ^__^, thank you for reading my review on Bandai’s LBX Emperor No. 006, the enemy and occasional alliance character, operated by Jin Kaidou (yes I did my homework on the series! Lol). I won’t go through the mechanism, sprues and stuff like in the Achilles, but I’ll focus on the overall kit and keep the review short. First up the box art is totally sinister looking!

The kit itself looks really badass, especially the head. I was expecting like some lame one piece face plate, but they gave this clear part for the eyes kinda like MG kits. The head design kinda look like a beetle, crossed with something from transformer movie(bayformers ^__^) to me. The Emperor uses a mace weapon, the design is pretty unique. If u watch the anime u'll love all the mace bashing action.

Break apart

The articulation is still quite limited like the Achilles, but it’s sturdier for the Emperor.

I was expecting a open spread palm but they didn’t give it in the kit which kinda disappointed me. Yes again they gave the paper cape -__- why.......

I didn't mention this in the Achilles review but they can be mounted on bandai's 1/144 base, base are not included in the kit

Likewise the Emperor comes with a dice thingy, and a comic strip at the back of the instruction manual.

mix n match gimmick suggested by the instruction manual, Achilles paper cape -__-

Proportions wise its quite cool, somehow the Silhouette of the Emperor reminds me of a villain from lord of the ring lol! So to conclude, the overall kit looks pretty cool, the proportions are good but the articulation is still limited like the Achilles, despite being slightly better its still not a big improvement in articulation. For comparison the Emperor sure beats Achilles, so this guy is a 3.5 star out of 5.

I went online to do some research on the series and i end up getting hooked to the anime wth!
But seriously aside from the slightly kiddy design the story and action is pretty good towards the end, especially the fight scene in ep 24.

Transformer WFC trailer and gamplay

Hi guys,

Recently I've been introduced to the War For Cybertron (WFC) game on the PS3 and Xbox by Mr SalmonJim, lots of crazy ideas popped in my mind when i watched the trailer! The next day i just ran out to the stores and grabbed the game!!
Its not a new game but its pretty cool, i love the original G1 style mechs.
I got some WFC toys from Robo Robo(toy shop in Singapore) following that, i'll see if anything good comes out of them :P

Anyway heres the vids enjoy them!! i sure did! thanks Mr SalmonJim for introducing me to some cool transformer stuff! Its refreshing after the DOTM movie :P
